Published Medicare inpatient service counts provide additional context. Mapped services do not reproduce HRRP eligible patient groups.
Supporting context
Historical cost-report information and MedPAC publications add financial or national context; they do not establish local causes.
Dates and coverage
The current HRRP comparison view uses the FY2026 source, with its stated performance window. Related inpatient activity is CY2024. Historical financial inputs have their own reporting periods. Not every facility has every measure or financial input.
FY2027 HRRP results are not included in the current briefs. TEAM and TCM remain research context. Updating this website does not update the underlying data.
Calculations and interpretation
The difference from the state median and state standing are descriptive comparisons. Older financial estimates are estimates, not actual losses or promised savings. Public sources cannot confirm a local workflow failure, who is responsible for a given handoff or a patient handoff.
